About Jogi Gerner

“Jogi” Jürgen Gerner’s name is synonymous with the Guanacaste real estate market, where his well-established reputation and unmatched market knowledge have made him a frontrunner in the industry. Originally from Germany, he moved to Costa Rica in 1995 where he started working in Real Estate in Tamarindo and subsequently in 1999 together with his wife Verena, founded a successful Real Estate company, which stood the test of time until 2023 when they decided to join the E&V team. 

 

His extensive network and local awareness are in no small part due to his 25+ year commitment. Jogi has an encyclopedic knowledge of every house, condominium, and property within a 50-mile radius and can help to source even places that are not on the market. He is familiar with every part of Tamarindo real estate; whatever is going on, he knows of it or has access to the information needed.

 

Jogi has been an integral figure when it comes to the development of industry standards and improvements in Real Estate in the Guanacaste area. He is a member of NAR (National Association of REALTORS®) and CRGAR (Costa Rican Global Association of REALTORS®). 

 

Jogi prides himself on his personal service and attention to every detail, which has led him to a large base of referrals and repeat clients. Allowing him to build a solid foundation of clients in this community through his professionalism and commitment to always put his client’s needs first. Active in the community, he is a proud part of ADI’s (Asociación de Desarrollo Integral) effort to advance the infrastructure, economic, social, cultural, and environmental design of Tamarindo.

 

Outside of real estate, Jogi enjoys walking and hiking with his Dobermann, riding his motorcycle, and working on restoring his Vocha, a 67 VW split window bus.
